Participation in educational programmes — SC Business School London

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in educational programmes provided by SC Business School London.
By registering for a course, making a payment, signing an agreement or otherwise participating in the programme, the participant confirms acceptance of these Terms.
1. Parties
These Terms and Conditions constitute an agreement between:
SC BUSINESS SCHOOL LONDON, a business education provider delivering educational programmes, mentoring and online training services (hereinafter referred to as the “Business School”),
and
The Participant — an individual who registers for and participates in educational programmes of the Business School (hereinafter referred to as the “Participant”).
The Business School and the Participant are collectively referred to as the “Parties”.
2. Subject of the Agreement
2.1 The Business School provides the Participant with access to educational programmes, learning materials, communication channels and related educational services.
2.2 The Participant agrees to take part in the programme and comply with the rules of interaction, conduct and confidentiality established by these Terms.
3. Format and Conditions of Participation
3.1 Training may be delivered in online and/or offline formats.
3.2 Internal communication during the programme may take place through closed communication channels (Telegram, WhatsApp or other platforms) involving participants, mentors and programme coordinators.
3.3 Educational materials are provided in electronic format unless otherwise stated.
3.4 Participation fees are paid based on an invoice or separate agreement issued by the Business School.
3.5 If a Participant misses an online session, the Participant agrees to review the recording (if available) and complete the assigned tasks.
3.6 The Participant should notify the administration of a planned absence no later than 24 hours before the session.
3.7 The Participant may request a temporary suspension (“freeze”) of the programme for up to 6 months, subject to approval by the Business School.
3.8 Upon successful completion of the programme, the Business School may issue an international certificate confirming participation in the programme of SC Business School London.
To receive the certificate, the Participant may be required to:
- present or defend their project or final assignment;
- provide feedback regarding their learning experience.
The certificate may be delivered electronically by email or by post upon request.
4. Discounts and Loyalty Programmes
4.1 If partners of the Participant enroll in a programme simultaneously, the Participant may receive a 10% discount.
4.2 Current participants may purchase other courses offered by the Business School with a 5% discount, which may also be extended to their partners or acquaintances.
5. Confidentiality and Commercial Secrets
5.1 During the educational process the Parties may exchange confidential information.
5.2 The Participant agrees not to disclose confidential or commercially sensitive information of the Business School during the programme and for a period of three (3) years after its completion.
5.3 Confidential information of the Business School may include, but is not limited to:
- educational materials, methodologies, recordings of sessions;
- internal documents, presentations, case studies and business materials;
- personal and contact details of other participants, mentors, lecturers or partners;
- access credentials, internal systems, learning platforms and digital resources.
5.4 The Business School agrees to maintain the confidentiality of information shared by the Participant, including but not limited to:
- personal and contact details;
- business ideas, projects, financial information, strategies and case studies;
- recordings or discussions involving the Participant.
5.5 Participant information will be used solely for educational purposes and will not be disclosed to third parties without consent unless required by law.
5.6 The transfer of educational materials, recordings, contacts or internal data to third parties without written consent is strictly prohibited.
5.7 If either Party becomes aware of a security breach or risk of confidential information leakage, they must notify the other Party immediately.
5.8 Breach of confidentiality obligations may result in a penalty of not less than £10,000 and/or compensation for damages incurred.
6. Intellectual Property and Media
6.1 Photo or video materials created during educational activities may be used by the Business School for marketing, promotional and informational purposes, unless the Participant explicitly objects in writing.
6.2 Nothing in these Terms restricts the Participant’s rights to their own intellectual property, projects, ideas or business concepts.
7. Liability
7.1 The Parties are liable for breaches of these Terms in accordance with applicable laws of England and Wales.
7.2 The Business School reserves the right to terminate participation unilaterally if the Participant materially violates these Terms or disrupts the educational process.
8. Personal Data
8.1 By registering for a programme, the Participant consents to the processing of personal data for educational and administrative purposes in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
9. Term of the Agreement
9.1 These Terms become effective from the moment the Participant registers, signs an agreement or makes payment for a programme.
9.2 Confidentiality provisions remain in effect for three (3) years after completion of the programme.
